My partner Michael and I would like to thank you so very much for January 20th and how beautiful the string quartet sounded.

 

There were so many comments both on the day and the days following about how lovely the music was and how it created a much more personable atmosphere.

 

The ceremony was exactly as I had hoped for - casual but with a touch of real elegance and that’s what you created.

My Mothers 80th Birthday was a Special Day thanks to the St Cecilia String Quartet!

 

Being a long way from mum and seeing her go into a nursing home was sad and hard. I'd wanted to do something special for her for a while and as she loves classical music I thought a string quartet for her 80th birthday would be a good idea. I looked around and found the prices were quite high until I came upon St Cecilia String Quartet in Launceston. Even with travel costs they still came in under the price of most of the others. Booking was easy and they arrived on time.

 

The music was really beautiful, they introduced what they were playing at the beginning of each set and asked if there were any requests. Even if they did not have the music for songs requested they played what they could and did an amazing job. Many of mum's friends came, along with residents of the nursing home. Everyone enjoyed the afternoon so much that I think future performances by the group will be a request for the nursing homes events calendar!

 

I found the St Cecilia String Quartet to be excellent and professional. They really made my mother's birthday something that will be remembered and talked about for a long time. That meant a lot to us and we can't thank them enough. I would highly recommend them!
